The Club is seeking an experienced senior leader to oversee the day to day running of the Education Hub, which is the education function of the football club.
The Education Hub Director will ensure that all programmes, partnerships and projects are delivered in line with our strategy, contracts and funders. The postholder will lead in the creation of high quality partnerships and programmes that achieve meaningful outcomes for students and educators.
The Education Hub Director will be based at our stadium at Plough Lane in South West London and the successful applicant will be part of the Senior Leadership Team to help drive forward all aspects of the football club. The role will involve working closely with the Media and Marketing team to promote the education brand to a wider audience, ensuring student and financial targets are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible and accountable for the day to day running and management of the Education Hub.
- Ongoing planning and developing key strategies for growth.
- Onboarding new partnerships to aid in the development of courses across the UK as well as internationally.
- Developing and writing funding bids and funding opportunities across the partnerships and communities.
- Overseeing the commercial activities for the Hub. Developing commercial partnerships overseas and UK with Blue Chip companies.
- Liaising with the Commercial team to develop new revenue streams.
- Developing partnerships with colleges, local councils and various universities. Building a positive reputation for Education, Learning and Skills.
- Work closely with the Media and Marketing team to promote the education brand to a wider audience, ensuring student and financial targets are met.
- Staying up to date with developments in the education industry. Ensuring all educational activities comply with the rules and regulations.
- Networking and building professional relationships with the members of the institution and the community.
- Ensuring all departments are communicated with in a prompt and accurately manner to ensure the smooth delivery of various partnership agreements.
- Ensure the club liaise with the key stakeholders on all aspects of the education programmes.
- Develop the curriculum offer in partnership with key stakeholders, partner agency, supply chain and employees.
- Compile various analysis reports on a regular basis for our key partners and SLT team.
- Work alongside the Club’s Managing Director in creating a deliverable long-term strategy and ensure KPIs are met.
- Act as budget holder, responsible for forecasting, preparing, monitoring and controlling assigned budget, reviewing actual expenditure against budget, taking corrective action where appropriate, and reporting as required.

Essential
- 5 years in an education environment, ideally in sport and with a commercial background.
- Comprehensive experience of managing at a senior level.
- Extensive experience and successful track record of building effective partnerships with schools, academies, colleges to create and develop opportunities to improve educational outcomes.
- Excellent presentation skills - written and verbal
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
