We are seeking a creative and passionate Content Creator with strong video editing skills to develop and produce content across our grassroots off-field education platform
The ideal candidate will have a knack for storytelling, a keen eye for detail and the ability to engage with our grassroots football family.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY & ACCOUNTABILITY
- Film and edit creative content from across the grassroots game in Wales in line with briefs provided from areas related to off-field volunteers, this will include club volunteers, safeguarding and match officials.
- Engage with grassroots volunteers to tell their stories and share their successes with the aim of supporting others to learn from them.
- Support with the development of new courses for off-field volunteers
- Support with the FAW Dosbarth education platform development and maintenance
- Engage with freelance experts as required to deliver on briefs.
- Ensure content captures allows for use across a variety of platforms including social media and adheres to the FAW brand guidelines.
- Work across the Content and Engagement team to identify areas for support in new content and online approaches to support the individual learners.
- Ensure accurate planning of workload to maximise content captured while on site and manage multiple priorities.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience
Experience in media production
Experience of using the Adobe suite
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
A thorough knowledge of Media production including the use of video cameras, lights and sound
An in-depth knowledge of using video editing software
An understanding and interest in emerging technologies
Knowledge in Photography, including editing and photo manipulation
Having a good understanding of the principles of animation
Fluent in Premiere Pro and familiar with Photoshop, Animate and After Effects.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with people quickly
Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritise and use initiative.
Desirable requirements
Experience in producing learning and teaching content (desirable)
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
The ability to speak Welsh would be advantageous.
Must be able to work non-traditional hours and have access to transport to travel across Wales as needed.
The appointment of the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and two professional / personal references, to the satisfaction of the FAW. In addition, the FAW will ask to see evidence of right to work in the UK.
