Job Title: Education and Sport Practitioner
Salary: £23k-£24k per annum (commensurate on skills and qualifications)
Hours of Work: You will be expected to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, excluding lunch breaks. The role includes evening and weekend unsociable hours. 33 days annual leave including bank holidays.
Location: Blackburn Rovers Football Club, Ewood Park, Blackburn, BB2 4JF.
Responsible To: Head of Primary School Education
Contractual Status: Full Time – permanent

We are looking for a passionate person to deliver high-quality physical education lessons and interventions that link the National Curriculum with Premier League Primary Stars outcomes and values within the primary school age group of Lancashire.
Whilst delivering for Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, you will support individuals to develop their abilities to their potential and enjoy physical activity, which will encourage them to sustain activity levels. Pupils should be encouraged to understand the importance of such physical activity on their mental wellbeing and other vital skills related to socialising, communication and resilience. All practitioners should also promote positive healthy lifestyle choices and deliver educational messages through football and sport.
The post holder will deliver against KPI’s from the Premier League Primary Stars programme and the EFL Trust Joy of Moving initiatives. The post holder will also be expected to help promote the football club to those they engage with.
