Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation (MFCF) is the Club’s independent charity of MFC established in 1996 by Club Chairperson, Steve Gibson. The Foundation uses the power of the MFC brand to engage with the community to provide opportunities for disadvantaged young people and adults to maximise their potential to achieve.

This is an exciting time to be part of the Education and Employability team as we refresh our programmes. The role will have the opportunity to plan, develop and deliver quality, inclusive provision across a range of partner Education sites to inspire and engage children, young people and young adults.

Secondary Education Officer
This role will be an active member of the Secondary Education team, delivering on the Foundation’s secondary education programmes of Premier League Inspires, local authority Virtual Schools offer and British Land Raise Your Game. In this Officer role, you will also have responsibility for managing Activators, delivering on the team programmes as well as wider Foundation activity.

Further Education and Employability Officer
This role will be an active member of the FE and Employability team, delivering on the Foundation’s further education and employability programmes of NCS Community, Bright Lights and USW Foundation Degree. In this Officer role, you will also have responsibility for managing an Activator delivering on the team programmes as well as wider Foundation activity.

Our ideal candidates will have a minimum Level 1 Sports Coaching qualification; a minimum level 1 Youth Work qualification or equivalent experience; experience of working within the community to improve education and employment opportunities; experience in project and programme delivery; and a flexible approach to working hours.
