The objective of The Director of Football is to oversee the operations of all Football enrichment activities and to implement the necessary policies and procedures to ensure best practice across the organization.
The specific duties of The Director of Football include recruitment and management of football coaches, across the group of Schools, designing the long term plan for football enrichment, procuring necessary materials and resources, monitoring compliance and ensuring continuous improvement to achieve successful outcomes.
The responsibilities also involve mentoring and quality assurance of team members, identifying ways to improve standards of customer service and providing programmes in football and other disciplines which exceed expectations for the benefit of the progressive development of students.

Skills
Proven work experience as a Football leader, School Leader or similar role.
Extensive knowledge of the UAE Education Market.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong leadership ability.
Outstanding organisational skills.
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise a heavy workload.
Strong IT skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & database skills.
Knowledge of Football coaching (Desirable)
Played Football competitivly (Desirable)
Familiarity with business and financial principles (Desirable)
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness (Desirable)
Experience in managing people (Desirable)
Qualifications
Degree in Coaching / Teaching
Minimum UEFA B
Experience
Knowledge of the UAE Education system and school-related processes.

Key Accountabilities
- Recruit and manage quality, qualified football coaches: Identify staffing needs and manage performance to meet or exceed the organisation’s expectations.
- Perform quality controls and monitor operational and staff KPIs. Observe and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure all meet or exceed expectations.
- Develop an innovative Football programme that exceeds expectations: Meets the needs of students and the community and monitor the programme’s performance.
- Maintain a standard of excellence in all Football programs offered: Consistently ensure that they are of the highest quality, appropriate for the target audience, compliant and cost-effective.
- Ensure continuous improvement and compliance: Conduct regular audits, Identify areas of improvement and implement changes.
- Identify ways to improve the customer experience: Highlight areas of improvement, implement change and monitor the results.
- Identify and procure equipment required for the Football programme.
- Examine financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability
- Manage budgets and forecasts.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
- To support with the development of safeguarding policies, procedures and code of conduct.
- To demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and student/colleague wellbeing.
- To ensure that any safeguarding concerns or incidents are reported appropriately in line with the policy.
- To engage in regular safeguarding training to stay up to date with current practices.
- To develop and implement Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work with regards to the music facilities and ensure they are kept up to date.
- To act as the designated safeguarding lead for the department.
