Description

The Premier League is looking for a Content Protection Data Analyst to work in its in-house IP enforcement team. The right candidate will be able to use data to provide valuable insight and reports to internal and external stakeholders and research unauthorised activity damaging the Premier League’s IP rights both on and offline. A varied role that will suit a data-driven individual that has an excellent knowledge of the internet.

Our hybrid-working model also allows you some variety on your place of work, offering you the chance to work from home on some days each week, where possible. You will be expected to attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.

The role

Support the Content Protection team by interpreting piracy data and information to the wider IP Enforcement department
Assist with research and reporting on illegal online broadcasting of Premier League matches and report
Compile reports for internal and external stakeholders, covering work on issues involving online piracy, illegal suppliers, auction sites and social media platforms.
Manage and oversee internal databases and identify solutions and ideas on the most efficient ways of processing and visualising data.
Take an active role in researching, auditing and gather intelligence into unauthorised activity by investigating social media platforms, online marketplaces, forums, chat rooms and other online sources.

Requirements for the role

• Previous experience interpreting and visualising data.
• Strong level of technical and practical expertise including knowledge of streaming protocols and technologies.
• A passion for data and problem solving.
• Strong eye for detail, analytical and research skills.
• Ability to review data from multiple sources and to analyse trends, patterns and highlight key issues.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write reports on a range of key topics.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team, with a proactive approach to all tasks and responsibilities.
