Content Marketing Executive.

Department/Location
Communications, the John Smith’s Stadium.

Reports To
Head of Content.

Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Head of Content, the Content Marketing Executive will be responsible for the coverage of all Club business and interests away from our sporting endeavours. Focus will be on, but not exclusive to: Retail, Ticketing, Premium Ticketing, Promotions, Terriers Together, Supporter Services and more, giving each element an increased platform, prominence, and relevance to all wider Club activity.

External: Other football clubs.
Social media and content companies / platforms.
Club partners.
Supporters and members of the community.

Key Performance Indicators

• To consistently produce a high standard of communications output and digital content for the Club and Huddersfield Town Foundation as required.

• To ensure communications output and digital content are consistent with the Club’s brand guidelines and best practice standards.

• To produce communications and digital content in accordance with specified deadlines.

Role Specific Responsibilities

The post holder will be required to:

• Work with the Head of Content to produce quality output across all website, social media platforms, and all Club communication channels.

• Be responsible for ensuring a consistent tone of voice, level of output, consistency of message, and quality across all online channels.

• Collaborate with the Creative team to create bespoke content for communications channels encompassing graphics, design, and video.
• Be creative, proactive, and forward-thinking in populating existing content streams while contributing fresh ideas and concepts to evolve all Club output and promote our wide-ranging non-football related work.

• Monitor how supporters and others engage with the Club’s content, to gauge its effectiveness and impact.

• Maintain understanding and up to date knowledge of media and how video and graphics can be used to best effect across different platforms.

• Work closely with all members of the Communications team and assist colleagues with other work as required.
