Stevenage FC Foundation is looking to add a community coach to support and deliver on a number of projects across our organisation including holiday camps, match day packages, community programmes including Premier League Kicks, and in particular the schools programme & extra-curricular activities.
Job Title: Community Coach
Reports To: Senior Leadership Team
Location: Various locations across Stevenage and Hertfordshire
Contract: Minimum 32.5 hours per week. Hours typically delivered between 12pm – 8pm, Monday to Saturday, some flexibility to support other sessions may be required from time to time
Salary: £19,351. Enhanced rates of pay for overtime hours worked
Job Purpose:
To deliver high quality community & school based coaching for all ages in Stevenage and surrounding area, enabling individuals to develop their abilities to their potential and enjoy physical activity which will encourage them to live more active, healthy and positive lives.
Coaches will also provide support to the Senior Leadership Team and Project Officers to deliver funded projects across the Foundation. The candidate must have a good in-depth knowledge of the school curriculum as well as school based and grassroots sport. Previous experience of delivering within both school & community settings is essential, with activities delivered to participants aged 2 – 92.
Preferably candidates would have a number of other sports coaching qualifications and be computer literate.

Are You Eligible:
To be eligible for shortlisting a candidate must have a National Governing Body Level 2 in Coaching qualification, which includes up to date Safeguarding and Emergency Aid certificate.
