What We’re Looking For:

Chelsea FC are on the lookout for a Commercial Operations Executive this role will be the go-to support for the Sponsorship Sales team, executing a range of tasks that aid the delivery of the club’s sponsorship sales strategy to drive incremental commercial revenue and handling day-to-day tasks.

Brief description and duties:

- Work with Hospitality to manage matchday invitees list, keeping a record of guest details and staying on top of attendee changes.
- Organise department purchase orders and invoicing process with Accounts.
- Coordinate department merchandise and gifting purchases to support prospect meetings.
- Handle office logistics requirements and contact with couriers.
- Manage confidential branding of logo for prospects on Shirts and Training Wear.
- Liaise with Events to book and manage Sales team meeting room requests.
- Develop and maintain a catalogue of key sales data, with support from Insights.
- Keep up to date with club image portal and digital channels, proactively sharing assets with Design.
- Manage Sponsorship email inbox, responding to and filtering enquiries for Sales team.
- Play a supporting role in the development and delivery of sales presentations and outreach materials.
- Manage relationships with department suppliers, from time-to-time supporting with identification and assessment of new suppliers.
- Maintain key departmental documentation and records for a variety of logistical processes.
- Ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day department operations.
- Taking control of a range of allocated tasks, allowing senior team members to focus time on higher impact activities.
- Developing internal relationships and, over time, becoming a dependable point of contact for solving a broad range of departmental needs.

Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:

- Demonstrable interest in sport with a basic understanding of the industry’s commercial landscape.
- Highly organised and adaptable, able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail
- Strong relationship builder with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Nice to Haves:

- 2-3 years professional working experience is desirable.
- Working in a commercial or sales function is desirable managing presentations.
