The Role

Motherwell FC is currently seeking a committed and motivated Academy Scout to operate in the Paisley and Renfrew area, although you may be asked to travel outwith this area. The main purpose of the role is to identify children and young people that have the potential to play within a professional academy.

Key Responsibilities 

• Work unsociable hours at times, including evenings and weekends regularly


• Attend necessary matches and events


• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the wellbeing of children and young people


• Report information to the Academy Recruitment & Scouting and other relevant staff members

Requirements and Skills:

• Must have Scottish FA talent ID level 1.1,1.2 and 1.3


• Must be working towards Scottish FA talent ID level 2
