About the Role:
In supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will lead and support on the following initiatives:
– Operational Efficiency – Improving and implementing a range of policies, procedures, processes and systems.
– Business Development – Lead in increasing procured service opportunities through the implementation of the Foundations strategic and operational plans.
– Delivery Standards – Oversight and delegation to the Management and Operations team for scaling and increasing the delivery offer and quality of provision.
– Kite Marks, Accreditation and Compliance – Increasing credibility and practices through achieving industry recognised accreditations and compliance measures.
To effectively lead and develop the Foundation’s Operations, focusing on partnership development, financial sustainability, quality assurance and business development whilst enhancing the Foundation’s visibility and presence within the wider community as a high-quality provider.
To keep up to date with political, social, economic and technological changes to ensure currency within the department, particularly where new opportunities become available to enhance the curriculum offer.
Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure sustainability for Sheffield United Community Foundation whilst seeking new business development opportunities for appropriate expansion and development of the charity.
