The Role
The Casual Video Analyst is required to monitor training and matchday performance for the football and education provision Burnley FC Shadow Youth Team & Post 16 Girls Academy, providing statistical data and analysis to the coaching staff on a weekly basis.
The casual Video Analyst will analyze home fixture on a Wednesday and /or Friday providing a detailed report and video clips to the coaching team. They will also support the lead coach in a post-match debrief with the players.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Take the lead in filming home fixtures (Fixtures typically take place on Wednesday and Friday afternoons).
• Take direction from Football Development Management and Coaches in relation to required content to be analysed/clipped.
• Provide analysis of content on request.
• Provide post-match analysis with video clips/data feedback to coaching staff and players.
• Working with coaches, support the development and implementation of Individual Development Plans (IDP’s) for players by providing video-based and statistical support to coaches in line with the philosophy of the Burnley FC Shadow Youth Team and Post 16 Girls Academy.
• Maintaining the VEO video library.
• Continually research and develop process based on best-practice.
• To understand and implement the Charity’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines in your role. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to a safe environment.
• To be able to work flexible hours where the role of the job requires.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills
• Be working towards a Bsc/Msc in Performance Analysis/Sports Science or related discipline.
• Good communication skills
• Experience of using various analysis software & programmes
• Enthusiasm for analysis and football.
• Have good communication and presentation skills.
• Be reliable and willing to work on weekends, evenings and bank holidays when required.
• Have the drive to set high standards to achieve academy objectives.
• Presentation and document software skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Keynote).
