About this role:

Delivery of the BTEC sport qualification programme for the Under 18’s.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering BTEC sport to the Under 18’s


• Tracking and monitoring of player progression on the BTEC sport programme


• Put in place individual learning plans for all learners.


• Assess learner work and track grades in line with BTEC and Premier League guidelines.


• Organise classroom and learning resources to encourage positive learning environment at the academy.


• Liaising with education provider on delivery of BTEC Sport qualification


• Attending relevant Premier League training for BTEC qualifications


• Undertake duties and role of Lead BTEC Sport Tutor in their absence.


• Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager


• Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (essential)


• Experience working in an elite sporting environment (essential)


• A1 Assessors qualification (desired)


• A proven track record of delivering outstanding results for 16-19 year olds


• An expert in delivery of the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Sport Level 3


• Experienced in tracking and monitoring BTEC Sport provision


• Experience of BTEC Compliance and submission guidelines


• Able to build strong relationships with students and professionals alike
