About Jong Cercle: Jong Cercle serves as the essential link between the Cercle Brugge first team and the academy. Purpose of the Role: As Assistant Coach, you will play a vital role supporting the head coach with daily team operations. Your responsibilities will particularly emphasize individual player growth and ensuring optimal team readiness for training sessions and competitive matches.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Individual Player Development Programs (IDPs).

Assist the head coach in planning and delivering training sessions.

Develop exercises and weekly training plans in collaboration with the head coach.

Contribute to technical and tactical team preparations.

Support match analysis and post-training evaluations.

Oversee set-piece strategies.

Provide consistent, detailed coaching feedback to players individually and collectively.

Your Profile: You are passionate about player development and excel in collaborative, professional coaching environments. Your vision aligns closely with Cercle Brugge, understanding your critical role in player and team advancement.

Availability Requirements:

Present for training sessions on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons.

Available Saturday mornings for pre-match preparations (when matches are on Sundays).

Matches typically occur Saturday evenings or Sunday afternoons.

Essentials:

UEFA A License (or currently undertaking it).

Strong communication skills.

Organized, detail-oriented approach.

Experience within semi-professional or professional football.

Fluent Dutch language skills.

Desirable:

Experience managing individual development plans.

Background in youth development within high-performance environments.

Analytical capabilities (video analysis, performance metrics, data interpretation).

Experience in set-piece coaching.

Competency in French and/or English.
