What will you be doing?
You’ll be working closely with Active Through Football Coordinator and will be responsible for coaching sessions to increase activity levels of adults in the Newtown/Nicholstown area, by providing football-themed activities that suit the community need

Energetic, motivating and love to be creative in your delivery sessions. You know how to keep people engaged and having fun! Ideally you have worked in a similar role and have a passion for giving back to the local community.
Essential Experience:
• Experience of working with community groups.
• Experience of, planning and delivering engaging activity sessions to a varied audience.
• An understanding of safeguarding sporting activities.
• Experience of managing challenging behaviours in group settings.
Essential Qualifications:
• FA Introduction to Football coaching qualification (formerly FA Level 1 coaching)
• Introduction to First Aid in Football
• FA Safeguarding Children
Essential Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, able to interact with diverse groups.
• Ability to build a strong rapport with colleagues and participants with varying needs.
• Confident of delivering a range of activities
• Able to manage a group
• A flexible approach to working hours to include evening and weekend work.
• A strong awareness and commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
