Description

Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League are looking for a full time Academy Youth Development Phase Coach to support ongoing operations at our Category One status academy at the Clayton Wood Training Ground and various Development Centre locations.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the implementation of coaching sessions for Academy players with a primary focus on the U15 age group.

From planning coaching sessions within the coaching development programme through to delivery, monitoring and analysis of performance, this is a comprehensive role perfect for individuals with a commitment to developing future players to the best of their abilities.

Key Skills, Experiences and Qualifications

  • Football background either as a player or coach.

  • UEFA A qualification in Coaching in addition to FA Youth Coaching Modules 3, and working towards Advanced Youth Award.

  • Knowledge and understanding of elite level requirements.

  • Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team of staff.

  • Thorough understanding of EPPP requirements.

  • Excellent planning and communication skills.

  • Experience of working in an academy and managing coaches is desirable.
