What is the role?

You will be providing coordinated care to all players from U9s to U16s within the Academy, acting as first contact for all players and parents, to aid in providing a well-rounded support programme on behalf of the Player Care Department.

This role will focus on providing support at key stages of transition throughout the season, on and off the pitch.

What will you be doing?

Player Care

You will be required to work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure off field support and care is provided to all players ages U9-U16. This will involve engaging with Academy players and parents through regular dialogue to aid each players development on and off the pitch.

You will forge excellent relationships with players across the foundation and youth phases, being available to support each individual with the varying needs, to encourage full engagement with the football programme. You will take a proactive approach to identifying times where additional support may be required and document regular contact check ins with both players and parents across these age groups.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with young children (desirable)

  • Full clean driver’s license and vehicle

  • Ability to work within a team

  • Meticulous organisation
