The RoleWe are looking for
Academy Technical Coaches on a
casual basis to deliver an effective coaching programme and play an important role in the development of youth players aged 7-16 years old in the Girls Youth Academy, ultimately creating First team and international players of the future.

Your day-to-day
- Lead in the planning, delivery and review of a holistic coaching programme
- Ensure high standards of coach delivery to support the long term player development of all players within the age group
- Work closely with other coaches to deliver age appropriate indiviualised training programmes for all players
- Attend all matches and assist with match day management of all fixtures against boys grassroots and academy teams both home and away
- Liaise closely with a multi-disciplinary support teams (e.g. Medical, Physical Performance, Education, Sports Psychology & Talent ID) when planning and delivering coaching sessions and matches
- Evaluate and provide feedback on all coaching sessions and matches
- Conduct performance reviews and deliver feedback to players and parents
What we are looking for
- Experience of coaching youth academy players (7-16yrs)
- Understanding of the FA Women’s and Girls player pathway and implications of long term player development
- Working towards UEFA B / FA Level 3 (Block 1 essential)
- FA Youth Award
- Current FA Licensed Coaches Club Member
- Up to date FA Emergency Aid Qualification – FA Basic First Aid for Sport Qualification (BFAS) or FA Level 2 Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF)
- Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues including holding a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
- An accepted FA Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Disclosure
- Previous education or teaching experience (Desirable)
