Burton Albion Football Club is offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our Academy Sports Science and Medical team. This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to apply their skills within a professional football club environment and to work with young footballers within a thriving Club Academy.
We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, hardworking and passionate about working within football. The successful candidates will be based at the Pirelli Stadium, in addition to our Academy training and games programme facility, St Georges Park. This is a part-time role requiring flexibility to work regular evenings and weekends, plus regular travel to away matches.
Applicants must have a minimum BSc Sports Science qualification (completed) and must hold a full driving licence. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
The successful candidates will aid in the provision of sports science services throughout the Academy to assist with the development of Academy players as directed by the Head of Sports Science and Medical Lead. Working closely with the Head of Sports Science and Medical Lead and the coaching department, the successful candidate will ensure all aspects of player fitness testing, gym and pitch based activities, and physical and athletic development of players. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, can work calmly under pressure, and will possess excellent communication skills.

FA Safeguarding Certificate
Desirable:
Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAIF) - completed on employment
Full driving licence
