Title: Academy Recruitment Coordinator
Reports to: Academy Head of Recruitment
Location: Various (Canford Magna Training Complex, Canford Park Arena, Vitality Stadium)
Contract: Full Time, 35 hours per week (Monday-Sunday)

PURPOSE OF ROLE
To coordinate the successful identification and recruitment of players within the U11 – U14 age groups within the Academy as well as overseeing all aspects of the Junior Training Centre programme.
MAIN DUTIES
• Coordinate the identification and recruitment of players within the U11–U14 age groups.
• Oversee all aspects of the Junior Training Centre programme including training & fixtures.
• Advise and manage the progress of players within the Junior Training Centre programme.
• Ensure all administration and operational duties associated with the Junior Training Centre are kept up to date.
• Support the Academy Recruitment Officer (U7 – U10) and Academy Head of Recruitment (U15 – U21) when required.
• Identify and monitor suitable clubs/organisations that could support scouting & recruitment within the Academy.
• Establish a network of contacts within grassroots and other forms of football throughout the clubs catchment area.
• To act and conduct yourself in a professional manner appropriate to a representative of AFC Bournemouth.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
• Scouting & Recruitment Experience
• FA Level 2 in Talent Identification
• Full Valid Driving License
• Valid DBS
• Safeguarding Children Certificate
• Computer Literate

Desirable
• FA Level 3 in Talent Identification
• Academy Experience
• Degree in a Sports-Based Field
