Purpose of the Role
Working with the U9-U16 age groups, the post holder will be responsible for supporting the Academy Physiotherapists / Sports Therapists in delivering a physiotherapy and rehabilitation programme and immediate medical cover on training and match days.

Strategic Advisor – HTAFC Academy.
Football Administration Manager.
Academy Physical Performance Team.
Academy Coaching Team.
Staff and Managers throughout the organisation.
External: Other Clubs’ Medical and Performance Staff.
Premier League and English Football League.
Football Association (FA).
League Managers Association (LMA).
Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA).
Role Specific Responsibilities
The post holder will:
• Support the Academy Physiotherapists / Sports Therapists in delivering a comprehensive Physiotherapy programme.
• Liaise with other Academy Sports Therapists regarding treatment, management and return to play of all Academy players.
• Deliver individualised assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to all Academy players as required.
• Provide match day medical cover (home and away, including evenings and weekends).
• Support the Academy injury audit.
• Maintain up to date and accurate injury notes for all Academy players in line with regulatory requirements.
