Description

Coventry City Academy is excited to be able to offer the opportunity to join the Academy Performance Support team as an Academy Physical Performance Coach.

Within the role of Academy Physical Performance Coach, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing performance support for the U9-U16 age groups.

They will also be required to develop working links with members of the wider MDT in order to provide relevant information relating to individual development.

The successful applicant will be supported by the Head of Performance Support and will have access to the full Academy CPD program and receive a bespoke development plan to help their development as a practitioner.

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Undergraduate degree in sports science (or another relevant discipline) from a recognised university.

  • Recent and relevant professional experience in a sports performance environment.


Desirable

  • Postgraduate degree in a sports science (or another relevant discipline) from a recognised university.

  • Hold or be working towards BASES and/or UKSCA accreditation.

  • Emergency First Aid in Football Qualification.

  • FA Safeguarding.
