Scheduled for completion in late 2025, Vision7 will be the first academy of its kind in the region — fully aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the highest SAFF Academy Licence protocols. The Opportunity
Vision7 is seeking an ambitious, forward-thinking Academy Manager to play a key leadership role in establishing and operating the academy. This is a unique opportunity to shape and influence every aspect of a new football institution from the ground up — from football operations to education, welfare, and staff development.

You will lead a UEFA/AFC-qualified coaching and support team, manage the daily operations of the academy, and ensure the delivery of a world-class player development programme. Working closely with the Board and partner clubs, you will drive the strategic vision and operational excellence needed to set new standards in Saudi academy football.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of Vision7 Academy across all age groups (male and female), ensuring alignment with the club’s philosophy and strategic goals.


• Manage and mentor a team of coaches, performance staff, medical and support personnel, ensuring a high-performance culture at all levels.


• Integrate and oversee the implementation of a European-style playing and coaching methodology.


• Ensure compliance with all SAFF Academy Licence regulations and drive continuous improvement in all operational and football areas.


• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including education partners, parents, and community organisations, to deliver holistic player development.


• Lead on player registration, safeguarding, welfare, and parent engagement.


• Support the integration of advanced sports science, performance analysis, and the Football Tech Lab into the academy's daily operations.


• Manage budgets, resources, and staff schedules effectively to ensure operational efficiency.


• Contribute to long-term strategic planning, including talent identification and progression pathways.


• Represent Vision7 Academy at local, national, and international levels when required.

About You

• Qualifications: UEFA B Licence (minimum)


• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a senior academy leadership role at a professional club or elite academy; experience in academy start-ups or major development projects highly desirable.


• Knowledge: Deep understanding of modern football development models (EPPP, Coerver, TIPS, LTAD, etc.) and how to adapt them to different cultural contexts.


• Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team.


• Cultural Adaptability: Previous experience working internationally (Gulf region experience a plus); sensitivity to working within a new cultural environment.


• Languages: Fluent English required; Arabic an advantage but not essential.


• Personal Qualities: High levels of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to player welfare and development.
