THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and positive Academy Manager at a pivotal time of transition and change for Burnley Football Club.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a Category 1 or 2 Academy and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. You will also need to have a flexible approach to work and be able to work evenings and weekends.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

As the Academy Manager, you will be expected to:

• Work alongside the Head of Academy Coaching to implement and measure the game model and coaching curriculum for Burnley FC.


• Work in conjunction with Academy staff to ensure that Burnley FC Academy Performance Plan strategy is efficiently and effectively implemented.


• Measure the coaching curriculum and game model document that sets-out the club’s playing philosophy via written descriptions, images, video and data.
