Wycombe Wanderers require a hard-working, open-minded, passionate & humble individual within the role of Academy Goalkeeping Lead Coach.This exciting new position in our Academy will be responsible for:
- Driving Excellence And Alignment Of Delivery Within The Academy Goalkeeping Department.
- Lead High-Quality Goalkeeping Provision Specifically Within The Professional Development Phase Of The Academy, As Well As Other Age Groups Across The Pathway.
- Leading The Creation, Delivery And Review Of Outstanding Individual Development Plans For Goalkeepers Within The Academy.
- Providing Leadership And Management To Goalkeeping Staff Within The Academy Programme. Liasing With The Head Of Goalkeeping & Head of Football Development To Ensure Alignment Across The Goalkeeping Pathway.
- Working Within The Inter-Disciplinary Team To Maximise Person And Player Development Of All Academy Goalkeepers, And Players More Broadly.
- Supporting The Smooth Transitions Of New, Existing And Exiting Goalkeepers Across Our Pathway, Including YDP To PDP, And PDP To 1st
Do you have what it takes?You should be passionate about supporting the development of young players and people. You will need to be a hard-working, diligent and efficient individual with the capacity to work independently and within an Inter-Disciplinary team. You will be a thoughtful, skilled leader who can drive departmental alignment and standards, as well as supporting the development of staff within your department. You will adept at planning, delivering and reviewing high-quality goalkeeping provision both on and off-pitch. Lastly, the individual should be curious and open-minded to being innovative in our approach to development to support our mission of becoming a world-leading football academy.
The successful candidate will need to hold the following qualifications:
- UEFA B Licence (Goalkeeping)
- UEFA A Licence (Goalkeeping & Outfield) (Desirable)
- FA Advanced Youth Award (Desirable)
- Valid Emergency First Aid in Football Certification (EFAiF)
- Valid & up-to-date Safeguarding certificate
