Contract: Full Time, 35 hours per week (Monday-Sunday)

PURPOSE OF ROLE
Lead the football and holistic development of the players within the Under 11 & Under 12 age groups.

MAIN DUTIES
Delivery
• Co-ordinate & oversee the training & games programme within the Under 11 & 12 age groups
• Plan, prepare and deliver organised sessions for U11 or U12 players, working in conjunction with the syllabus
• Send out the weekly U11 & U12 micro-cycle to communicate the session theme and logistics for the week to the multi-disciplinary team
Analysis of Performance
• Provide feedback to each player on the FiP or by using video analysis on a weekly basis
• Work with Academy analysts to plan and prepare relevant team and specific player footage
• Complete and oversee all necessary paperwork required on all match days and training sessions in relation to requirements for the EPPP within the Under 11 & 12 age groups
Meetings
• Lead weekly U11 & 12 Multi-Disciplinary Meetings and to distribute the minutes to the relevant members of staff
• Attend and conduct all relevant Player/Parent Development Meetings within the Under 11 & 12 age groups
• Attend all staff meetings and relevant parent information evenings as required by the Academy Manager, Academy Head of Coaching and Academy Coach Developer
Generic Responsibilities
• Ensure all players in the U11 and U12 age groups have an Individual Development Plan which is consistently delivered, reviewed and adapted, with appropriate opportunities to practice on the areas highlighted
• Attend all AFCB In-service training as part of their continuous development
• Take on additional reasonable duties if asked to do so by the Academy Manager, Academy Head of Coaching or Academy Coach Developer
• Engage in any coach development work as directed by the Academy Head of Coaching, both part-taking in support sessions and providing developmental support to U11 and U12 coaches
• Ensure that any complaint about any other member of staff within the Academy, is done in writing and given to the Academy Manager, Academy Head of Coaching & Academy Coach Developer
• As a member of staff to ensure in all matters, you follow and actively promote the club’s mental health policies and practices to ensure an open, non-judgmental and inclusive environment for everyone engaged with the club
• As a member of staff to ensure that you to adhere to the club’s safeguarding policies and procedures and are committed to our safeguarding values, creating a safe and positive environment for all those who interact with the club

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
• Experience of coaching in an elite environment
• UEFA B License
• FA Advanced Youth Award
FA Safeguarding Children
• EFAiF (Emergency First Aid in Football) Desirable
• UEFA A Licence
