Pembrokeshire College is looking for an enthusiastic Academy Coach to join the College’s Football Academies Team.

Salary Details: BS18-21- Currently £24,109 – £26,164 pro rata

Equivalent to £12.53 - £13.60 per hour

Hours of Work: Part-time - 9 hours per week x 38 weeks term weeks per year

Contract Type: Annualised hours contract - permanent

Fractionalised posts are paid in equal amounts over 12months and the appropriate element of holiday pay will be incorporated into the calculation.

Qualifications: Hold a minimum Level 1 Football Coaching qualification, however it is highly desirable to hold a Level 2 Football Coaching qualification.

Ideally hold a valid First Aid Certificate. If not held, you will be required to undertake and achieve this during your employment.

Experience:

• Knowledge of the sporting environment in which the academies operate.


• Experience of coaching Football

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience of working with young people and ideally players U19. You will be part of the Sports Academies Team, working with the football academies. You will be required to maintain accurate records, plan and organise sessions and fixtures, and monitor athletes’ progress, as well as complying with health and safety procedures/policies.

Working pattern based on current fixtures: Monday 9am-12pm, Wednesday (away game – would need to be flexible and potentially available for the day), Friday 9am-12pm. Please note, timings of games may be subject to change.
