Oxford United Football Club are currently looking to recruit video scouts to join their successful and progressive recruitment department. Reporting to the Head of Recruitment, you will make a highly valued contribution to the recruitment process, watching and assessing players predominantly on video but also live when required in order to produce player reports on potential transfer targets.

Main Duties

·       Scouting of potential transfer targets, predominantly on video but also live when required, to identify players for Oxford United, in line with the club’s playing philosophy.
·       Produce concise written reports as per the club’s report templates.

Personal Specification

Essential

·       Some previous scouting experience in professional football.
·       Good knowledge of players and team within the EFL.
·       Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail.
·       Ability to work flexible hours.
·       High degree of computer literacy.
·       Excellent communication and organisational skills.
·       FA Talent ID qualifications.
·       Up-to-date DBS check.

Desirable

·       Strong professional networks and industry contracts.
