Head of physical development in the Komplett academy / Physical trainer
Department: Komplett academy
Title: Head of physical development in the Komplett academy / Physical trainer
Percentage: 100% (as a trainer in SF, work in the evenings, weekends and holidays must be calculated)
Responsibilities and tasks:
The physical trainer reports to the head of the academy.
Responsibility for establishing a strong relationship and collaboration with the A-team's physical trainer
4 sessions per week at Wang ung Sandefjord are part of the training week.
Responsible for the overall physical academy plan being implemented by the physical team at all teams/players in the Komplett academy
Responsible for the team's physical periodization and monitoring in consultation with other coaches and the A-team's physical coach.
Work systematically to map and improve the players' football physiological prerequisites
Collection and analysis of data from the tracking system (Catapult)
Responsible for load management and injury prevention training
Responsible for planning and carrying out test days and registering players in XPS.
Training of players returning from injury
Responsible for personal training program during holidays/free periods
Assist with documentation in work around Academy classification, with a school plan for physical training for players aged 12 to 19.
Create individual training programs for physical training for all players at SF2, G17 and G15
Qualifications:
Master's degree in exercise physiology, sports science, or other relevant sports physiology or exercise-related education
Knowledge of physiology and training of physical characteristics important for football performance
Knowledge and experience with physical testing of football players
Experience from top football or other top sports is an advantage
Knowledge and experience of using a tracking system (GPS or similar) for load management. Collection and analysis of data
Experience as a trainer. UEFA B or desire to take this is an advantage
Good written and oral knowledge of Norwegian and English
