Job Title: Performance Analyst
Department: WSL Academy & Regional Talent Club Department
Hours of Work: Fixed Term, Variable Hours (expected to be circa 20 – 25 hours per week)
Salary: £9.50 – £13.50 per hour dependent upon experience
Location: Bodymoor Heath Training Ground

The Club are seeking an ambitious analyst to work with the Regional Talent Club (RTC) and WSL
Academy who have shown exceptional progress in recent years with two players signing first team
contracts in the recent 2020-21 season.
The department wants to continue improving this environment and this is an exciting opportunity to
implement your ideas into a young, adaptable and forward-thinking analysis department with occasional
opportunities to support the first team.
Primary duties of the role include filming all WSL Academy Squad matches and co-ordinate filming of
RTC games across various age groups. Data collection and analysis is a key element of our
workflows so you will be conducting match and player coding to provide team and individual statistics
to measure performance. All of the footage is uploaded to an online sharing platform and managing
video storage diligently is required.
The WSL Academy squad will benefit from your pre-match tactical and objective information for
players and coaches. Similarly, your post-match presentation evaluating team tactics and match
objectives will support their upcoming training week and ultimately future game performances.
To be successful the analyst will work effectively with other support staff and services, including
coaches, physiotherapy/medical services, to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to performance
enhancement. You will also need to have experience of using analysis software programs such as
Hudl Sportscode / Fulcrum Angles along with excellent presentation and communication skills.
