Job Description

To oversee and co-ordinate the various IT systems and technology systems that are used and in place throughout the business.

  • Oversee and co-ordinate all technological and IT systems across the club.

  • Develop a good understanding of all systems in place and how they interact with each other, ensuring that each is used to its maximum potential.

  • Provide advice and support to club staff on the systems that they are using and advise upon any improvements / integrations that will provide enhanced performance / service.

  • Oversee and manage all of the digital platforms that the club operates, ensuring that a positive customer journey is delivered at all times.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any basic IT issues (hardware and / software) that users may have.

  • Directly manage various contracts that are in place. To include, but not limited to, IT maintenance, Telephony systems (fixed & mobile), digital streaming platform, photocopiers / printers.

  • Manage the technical live streaming process for match days, both home and away, liaising with the marketing department regarding the promotion of the service.

  • Work in conjunction with the club’s IT maintenance contractor to ensure all equipment is operational and suitably maintained.

  • Advise upon the requirement of any new equipment / software for the business.

  • Oversee the procurement process of any new equipment ensuring that value for money is always obtained.

  • Oversee / act as liaison with any external contractor / company that provides an IT or technological solution for the club. Including, but not limited to, payroll, ticketing, retail, streaming provision, access control, till systems (Catering and retail), time and attendance system, telephony systems, CRM, Single Sign On, website, photocopiers, data analysis etc.

  • Ensure that users of all systems and technology do so in accordance with standard codes of practice and in a way that minimises the risk of any “cyber-attack”.

  • To ensure the health & safety within the Club for self and others is adhered to at all time

  • To carry out all responsibilities with due regard to the Club values and all policies and procedures, in particular Health & Safety, Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding

  • To undertake all required training, including mandatory Club Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety training.
