The candidate will coach a group of young and enthusiastic goalkeepers (aged 7-14 years old), mixing technical and tactical learning with fun and enjoyable weekly sessions.

The candidate should have experience coaching goalkeepers before and be comfortable working with a group of young goalkeepers.

We offer competitive rates of pay, plus the opportunity to coach at our annual goalkeeping camps in Spain and Holland.

Ongoing Support

We believe that our sessions should be as effective as possible and supporting our coaches plays a bit part in that. Andy Fairman (Goalkeeper coach at Bolton Wanderers), is our Head of Coaching and is available with session plans, and advice to support your development.

Who Are GK Icon

Founded by ex-Premier League goalkeeper, Richard Lee GK Icon Academies run 50 nights a week across the UK aiming to develop the next generation of young goalkeepers with weekly goalkeeper training. We also run overseas goalkeeping camps in Spain / Holland and summer camps with some of the best goalkeeper coaches in the country giving the candidate plenty of opportunities to develop as a coach.
