Job Description
This role’s primary objective will be to ensure football is accessible and welcoming for all, regardless of background or ability, and the role will particularly support our community members who have either perceived or physical barriers that have made it more challenging to fully engage with the game and reap the benefits and opportunities
that football brings.
The ideal candidate will be resourceful, creative and determined, with a clear passion to improve and support communities across Lancashire. They will have the skills and abilities to work in partnership with charities, community groups and organisations to foster collaborative solutions that tackle societal concerns in Lancashire. Having a knowledge and appreciation for under-represented communities in sport generally and football in particular, combined with the interpersonal and influencing skills to make effective contributions for positive change, are all essential for this role.
This is a full time, permanent role, working 35 hours a week, typically Monday to Friday but also with some evening & weekend commitments. The role is based at Lancashire FA, however, you will be expected to be visible, building up a presence in our communities. There will also be opportunities to work remotely and flexibly.
