Ahead of a planned transition to Category 2 Academy status: OUFC Boys EPPP Academy are looking to add to their excellent existing team of full-time staff with the addition of a new “Academy Physiotherapist”.
Key responsibilities:
• Oversee and deliver physiotherapy programme for U9-16 squads.
• Lead medical contact for U9-16 squads and parents/guardians.
• Medical lead for evening training/injury clinics and Sunday match-days with support of part-time staff.
• Scheduling and communication of part-time medical cover for U9-16 training and fixtures.
• Manage and complete all medical record keeping for U9s-U16s squads.
• Support & develop part-time physio’s, students and volunteers.
• Contribute to the multi-disciplinary support of players in line with Individual Learning Plans.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• BSc (hons) Physiotherapy (Sports Therapists/Rehab will not be considered)
• Full membership of the CSP and registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• FA ITMMiF as a minimum (or willingness to work towards ASAP).
• Outstanding communication and organisation skills.
• Physical competency level to demonstrate a lead gym and field based rehabilitation sessions.
• Experience of pitch-based rehabilitation, return to play protocols & safeguarding compliance.
• Confident, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to work collaboratively with players, parents and staff.
• Outstanding clinical knowledge in sports physiotherapy.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint/word
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
• A clear understanding of the Premier League’s Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP).
• FA Safeguarding qualification.
• Minimum 1-year full-time experience providing physio support in an elite sporting environment.
• Awareness of the PMA management software for Academy Audit process.
• A full drivers’ licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Lives within 60min radius of training ground.

• Ability to work in a high pressured, elite performance environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines with high level of precision and reliability.
• Willingness to contribute to Academy running with a sense of adaptability and co-operation.
• High character individual who will represent the values of the club at all times.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required by the role.
• Keen interest in evidence based, preparation and performance strategies in youth football.
Remuneration Package:
• Full-time salary: £27,500
