An exciting opportunity has arisen at Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League for a full time Professional Development Phase Coach and Player Care Officer to support football operations at our Training Ground facility at Clayton Wood in Trent Vale.
The Coaching and Player Care departments play a key role in supporting the development of young players at the Club. This is a fantastic opportunity to coach and develop players in an elite environment to build on the recent success of the Academy in progressing players to the first team. Supporting the Head of Player Care and Academy Safeguarding you will be required to manage your time equally between coaching responsibilities and delivering outstanding player care to our Academy players.
The successful applicant will be an integral member of the PDP coaching staff and will be able to build and formalise relationships with players and their families to support their Academy journey. You will also be required to deliver the Club’s coaching programme to other phase players as needed.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of flexibility to cover evenings and weekends work as required. The position will be offered on a full time basis.
