Brazilian wonderkid Endrick rejects Man Utd and Liverpool to sign pro contract

Endrick has rejected Liverpool and Manchester United as he prepares for his first professional deal with Palmerias, his boyhood club.

Liverpool and Marca says that the European sides will be ignored as Endrick celebrates his 16th birthday by signing a professional deal. Endrick will sign a contract that runs until 2025 on July 21. This would end any immediate interest.

Endrick’s age meant that there was the possibility of him being purchased and transferred to a youth academy from one of the European sides. Palmerias managed to retain their talent and will now be able charge a substantial fee for his services.

Jesus was also a youth signee in 2013. He was then quickly elevated to a pro contract a year later. In 2017, Palmerias received £30million plus additional City add-ons for his services.

Endrick has been compared to Vinicius Jr., who was discovered playing for Flamengo in Brazil. Madrid paid £40m in 2018 for Vinicius, making him the most expensive signing from the Brazilian league.

Endrick could be resigned for the same fee as Vinicius. If not more, it would be due to current economic conditions in football. Vinicius for Madrid’s success will only benefit his case.

Vinicius helped Madrid win La Liga, make the final of Champions League and his deadly partnership and Karim Benzema made them an incredible team that dominated Chelsea, Paris Saint Germain and City. It’s unlikely they’d do it again with Brazilians Rodrygo or Vinicius at their club.

Liverpool, City, and United are still interested in him, but it will be more about keeping an eye on his progress than making an aggressive bid. He is highly regarded in Brazil and it is likely that he will be given an opportunity to prove his worth.
